Pour&nbsp;Hans-Ulrich Obrist, historien et critique d&#8217;art, commissaire d&#8217;exposition \u00e0 travers le monde, c\u2019est un dessin d\u2019Emma Kunz sur la boite de l\u2019AION A que sa m\u00e8re achetait \u00e0 la pharmacie. Un dessin qu\u2019il avait toujours \u00e0 disposition chez lui et qui a \u00e9veill\u00e9 en lui une relation imm\u00e9diate \u00e0 l\u2019art. De cette relation \u00e0 l\u2019art tendre et bienveillante est n\u00e9e une compr\u00e9hension, sans doute \u00e0 l\u2019origine de la s\u00fbret\u00e9 du regard de Hans Ulrich Obrist qui l\u2019ont propuls\u00e9 au firmament du monde de l\u2019art. Plus tard, il d\u00e9couvrit l\u2019\u00e9tendue de son \u0153uvre. Hans-Ulrich Obrist revient sur l\u2019importance de cette artiste visionnaire dont l\u2019\u0153uvre m\u00eale art et spiritualit\u00e9. \u00c0 la fois artiste, chercheuse et gu\u00e9risseuse, elle a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 plus 350 dessins, toujours \u00e0 l\u2019aide de son pendule. Ce souvenir d\u2019enfance ne le quitta plus et r\u00e9alisera une exposition d\u00e8s 1992 au centre culturel<\/strong> <strong>Suisse \u00e0 Paris et plus r\u00e9cemment en 2019 \u00e0 la Serpentine galerie qu\u2019il dirige depuis 2016.&nbsp;Rencontre.<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"intBlockQR\">\n    <div class=\"intBlockQR__Q\"><p>Quel a \u00e9t\u00e9 votre premier contact \u00e0 l\u2019art ?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n    <div class=\"intBlockQR__R\"><p>Une exp\u00e9rience m\u2019a particuli\u00e8rement marqu\u00e9e durant mon enfance, je dirais que c\u2019est l\u2019\u0153uvre d\u2019Emma Kunz. J\u2019ai toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 profond\u00e9ment transform\u00e9 par son travail. Je n\u2019ai pas grandi dans une maison, en Suisse, o\u00f9 l\u2019art jouait un r\u00f4le. Mais l\u2019art est entr\u00e9 dans notre maison gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 Emma Kunz, puisque ma m\u00e8re, quand j\u2019\u00e9tais enfant, achetait souvent un produit appel\u00e9 Aion A, un produit qu\u2019Emma Kunz a d\u00e9couvert. C\u2019est un produit sous forme de poudre issue d\u2019une roche appel\u00e9e Aion A., dont Kunz a d\u00e9couvert les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s curatives. Et dans de nombreuses pharmacies en Suisse, on peut acheter ce produit avec un dessin d\u2019Emma Kunz sur l\u2019emballage. D\u2019autant plus qu\u2019Emma Kunz n\u2019\u00e9tait pas seulement artiste, elle est aussi gu\u00e9risseuse\u2026 On per\u00e7oit la complexit\u00e9 et la profondeur d\u2019une telle personnalit\u00e9.   <\/p>\n<\/div>\n    <div class=\"intBlockQR__R\"><p>Oui, elle n\u2019\u00e9tait pas seulement une artiste, mais aussi une gu\u00e9risseuse. Elle soignait et elle a, entre autres, gu\u00e9ri Anton Meier, qui fut le fondateur du centre de W\u00fcrenlos que j\u2019ai connu. Il \u00e9tait paralys\u00e9, elle l\u2019a gu\u00e9ri, et c\u2019est apr\u00e8s cela qu\u2019il a cr\u00e9\u00e9 ce centre. Ses dessins sur papier sont r\u00e9alis\u00e9s au crayon, mais aussi aux crayons de couleur. Ce sont des \u0153uvres de tr\u00e8s grand format. Comment percevez-vous la spiritualit\u00e9 dans ses dessins ?\u2028<\/p>\n<\/div>\n    <div class=\"intBlockQR__R\"><p>Oui il y a un lien entre spiritualit\u00e9 et abstraction dans son oeuvre. Mais pas seulement : en r\u00e9alit\u00e9, il y a une dimension multi-dimensionnelle dans ses dessins.\u00a0On voit toutes ces dimensions et, Emma Kunz comparait aussi ses dessins \u00e0 des hologrammes. Un jour, elle a fait un dessin, pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, en esp\u00e9rant que dessiner avec une grande intensit\u00e9 puisse provoquer la disparition d\u2019Hitler. Snow, d\u2019une certaine mani\u00e8re, a amen\u00e9 cette id\u00e9e de clivage entre les sciences humaines\u00a0: les arts d\u2019un c\u00f4t\u00e9, et la science de l\u2019autre. Il disait qu\u2019il nous fallait un pont et effacer cette dichotomie. On ne devrait pas \u00eatre dans ce c\u00f4t\u00e9 binaire, mais cr\u00e9er un troisi\u00e8me espace de rencontre. \u2028\u2028<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"intBlockQR\">\n    <div class=\"intBlockQR__Q\"><p>Comment le travail d\u2019Emma Kunst a accompagn\u00e9 votre vie de curateur international\u00a0?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n    <div class=\"intBlockQR__R\"><p>D\u00e8s mon enfance, j\u2019ai \u00e9t\u00e9 fascin\u00e9 par cette \u0153uvre, et Emma Kunz a en quelque sorte accompagn\u00e9 toute ma vie de commissaire d\u2019exposition et de directeur de mus\u00e9e. Ce fut aussi le sujet de ma premi\u00e8re exposition que j\u2019ai organis\u00e9e dans une institution, en 1992. J\u2019\u00e9tais commissaire invit\u00e9 par le Centre culturel suisse, rue des Francs-Bourgeois \u00e0 Paris. Avec Bice Curiger, nous avons mont\u00e9 cette exposition, qui visait \u00e0 \u00e9tudier l\u2019influence d\u2019Emma Kunz sur l\u2019art contemporain, sur les artistes d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui\u00a0: de Boetti \u00e0 Bethan Huws, en passant par Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Bruly-Bouabr\u00e9. \u2028\u2028Puis, \u00e0 nouveau, \u00e0 la Serpentine en 2006, je suis all\u00e9 \u00e0 Londres et c\u2019est l\u00e0, dans ce parc, que nous avons organis\u00e9 une r\u00e9trospective d\u2019Emma Kunz. Cette exposition \u00e9tait r\u00e9alis\u00e9e en collaboration avec un artiste, Christodoulos Panayiotou qui a travaill\u00e9 sur le mobilier. Au lieu de s\u2019asseoir sur une chaise comme nous le faisons maintenant, on s\u2019asseyait sur une chaise en pierre, faite de cette roche.
