Elle se r\u00e9v\u00e8le sous quatre \u00e9clairages compl\u00e9mentaires : esth\u00e9tique, technique, s\u00e9mantique et universel.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>L\u2019esth\u00e9tique<\/strong>. Affranchie des canons de \u00ab&nbsp;La Beaut\u00e9&nbsp;\u00bb recherch\u00e9e pour elle-m\u00eame, l\u2019esth\u00e9tique est aujourd\u2019hui plurielle et s\u2019affirme comme telle : l\u2019\u0153uvre se nourrit de la licence artistique de son auteur, le d\u00e9passe, le submerge. Elle \u00e9chappe \u00e0 la volont\u00e9 de son cr\u00e9ateur pour devenir un objet en soi, une entit\u00e9 autonome qui n\u2019appartient plus qu\u2019\u00e0 elle-m\u00eame. Elle se donne \u00e0 voir. R\u00e9v\u00e9lant au spectateur le myst\u00e8re de ses replis ombreux, l\u2019\u00e9vidence de ses plages de lumi\u00e8re, dans lesquels il s\u2019ab\u00eeme avec d\u00e9lectation. L\u00e0 est l\u2019esth\u00e9tique, qui entre en r\u00e9sonance avec la psych\u00e9. Le beau est le fruit de cette rencontre.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>La technique<\/strong>. Longtemps l\u2019art et l\u2019artisanat ont v\u00e9cu en \u00e9troit voisinage. Le tisseur et les entrelacs changeant de la moire ou le peintre et le chatoiement opulent de la pourpre cardinalice se nourrissaient des m\u00eames moyens: la main ma\u00eetrisant la mati\u00e8re. Seul l\u2019artiste porteur d\u2019une ambition sup\u00e9rieure \u00e9levait l\u2019\u0153uvre vers l\u2019immat\u00e9riel. L\u2019artisan tissait la moire, l\u2019artiste \u00e9levait son sujet dans la lumi\u00e8re divine. Aujourd\u2019hui l\u2019art s\u2019affranchit de tout lien de subordination \u00e0 la mati\u00e8re, l\u2019\u0153uvre elle-m\u00eame s\u2019\u00e9loigne du support pour n\u2019exister parfois que par sa num\u00e9risation. Ni la main, ni la mati\u00e8re, ne sont plus consubstantielles \u00e0 l\u2019\u0153uvre, pure expression de l\u2019esprit, qui flotte ici et l\u00e0 comme le sourire du chat d\u2019Alice.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>La s\u00e9mantique<\/strong>. L\u2019artiste est porteur d\u2019un projet, articulation d\u2019id\u00e9es qu\u2019il ambitionne de repr\u00e9senter, d\u2019exprimer, dans sa pure singularit\u00e9. Par l\u2019ex\u00e9cution de l\u2019\u0153uvre-la syntaxe- se r\u00e9v\u00e8le le r\u00e9seau d\u2019id\u00e9es qu\u2019elle tend \u00e0 exprimer -la s\u00e9mantique- ainsi l\u2019art est langage. Mais ce langage n\u2019est pas univoque : le couple signifiant\/ signifi\u00e9, comme le langage po\u00e9tique, ne s\u2019adresse pas \u00e0 la raison. Il ne r\u00e9v\u00e9lera toute son \u00e9tendue que dans l\u2019alchimie bouillonnante avec la passion, la sensibilit\u00e9 aiguis\u00e9e par la culture de ceux qu\u2019il rencontrera. L\u2019art est une s\u00e9mantique, tel une bouteille \u00e0 la mer, en instance de r\u00e9v\u00e9lation.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>L\u2019universalit\u00e9<\/strong>. L\u2019\u0153uvre d\u2019art ignore le temps et l\u2019espace. Les bambous de Xu Wei dans leur confondant d\u00e9pouillement, sont de m\u00eame essence que les plantureuses na\u00efades de Rubens. Les unes et les autres s\u2019adressent aux humains, les s\u00e9duisent, les subjuguent, les \u00e9l\u00e8vent. Toutes les religions ont utilis\u00e9 l\u2019art pour rapprocher la multitude de la notion de divin. Ce d\u00e9passement de l\u2019\u00e2pre condition humaine, c\u2019est l\u2019id\u00e9e du beau qui se r\u00e9v\u00e8le et ouvre les chemins de la transcendance, \u00e0 laquelle aspire l\u2019humanit\u00e9.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>L\u2019esprit, ce n\u2019est pas la subjectivit\u00e9 dans ce qu\u2019elle a de particulier, d\u2019arbitraire, d\u2019aberrant, de relatif \u00e0 un seul individu. Tant qu\u2019une \u0153uvre est prisonni\u00e8re d\u2019une particularit\u00e9 empirique, d\u2019une mythologie personnelle, elle n\u2019int\u00e9resse que peu de monde. Lui manque une certaine mani\u00e8re d\u2019\u00e9lever une exp\u00e9rience \u00e0 l\u2019universel. Car l\u2019esprit, c\u2019est la dimension de l\u2019universel.
